The mission of the Suburban Cook County Regional Office of Education is to be at the forefront of education, serving the educational needs of all Suburban Cook County Citizens. In cooperation with the Illinois State Board of Education, the Regional Office of Education initiates, refines, and facilitates state mandates and locally initiated programs. The Suburban Cook County Regional Office of Education is committed to serving and providing leadership to administrators, teachers, students, parents, and the educational community of 143 school districts.

| Regional Spelling Bee Winner Announced!!! POSTED: - Friday, March 20, 2009
Special congratulations go out to Andrew Napora, an eighth-grade student at Thomas Middle School in Arlington Heights School District 25, for winning our 2009 Regional Spelling Bee! Andrew, pictured above with Fidel Marquez, Vice President of External Affairs & Large Customer Services for ComEd, and his father, Michael Napora, will soon be jetting off to Washington, D.C. for the Scripps National Spelling Bee. The bee takes place May 26-28, so keep an eye out for Suburban Cook County’s spelling champ. Good luck, Andrew!
